I didn’t start with clients.
I started with rain.
Rain on the grass.
Water swirling into street drains.
Dragonflies at the park.
Back then, I was a teenager with a camera and a fascination for the way light met the world. I followed around a photographer friend, carried his bag, and soaked up everything I could about lenses, framing, and how to see. I got my own DSLR when I graduated high school, and I was instantly hooked.
I took photos of friends at church, kids at youth group, and posted all the candids on Facebook—not thinking anything of it until people started noticing. They saw the emotion in the in-between moments and started asking me to photograph their families. In return, they’d give me Barnes & Noble gift cards to feed my book habit (I didn’t even feel right asking for money back then!).
Somewhere in those early years, I realized:
I wasn’t just taking pictures.
I was telling stories. I was freezing real, fleeting moments. And I loved it.
Why I Photograph Families, Love, and Everyday Magic
There’s something so powerful about capturing a season of time.
I get to be the quiet observer—an outsider with a camera and a deep appreciation for the chaos, connection, and joy unfolding in front of me. I get to freeze the tickle fights, the golden hour glances, the way he looks at you while you sip your wine without even noticing.
You can’t always see those moments in real time.
But I can. And I get to bottle them up for you to keep forever.
I think of my bestemor—my grandmother who passed when I was five. I only have snippets of memories from those early years, but because of photos, those snippets feel brighter. Alive. I can see her laugh at the table, see her face next to mine as we cuddled in towels by the pool.
Photos made her real to me again. And now, I get to give that gift to others.
That legacy.
My Style? Cozy. Candid. Connected.
If I had to describe my approach in a few words, it’s this:
Candid > perfect.
My favorite photos are the fly-on-the-wall moments. The unplanned giggles. The tender forehead kisses. The chaos that somehow becomes beautiful.
I don’t force anything. I’m not here to pose you like a statue. I’m here to hang out, camera in hand, while you live your life—and I’ll be ready to catch the magic when it shows up (because it always does).
I created my sessions for real people in real seasons of life.
Half sessions are for those quick snapshots of time:
→ A wobbly toddler walk.
→ A growing baby bump.
→ A golden hour family snuggle in the park.
You don’t always need an hour. Sometimes you just need 30 minutes and someone who knows how to make it count.
Full sessions are for the memory makers.
→ Cookie baking and flour-covered kisses.
→ Strolls through your favorite spots.
→ Letting your kids warm up before they run full-speed into the moment.
They’re slow, rich, and built to tell a fuller story.
During our time together, I want you to feel like I’m your new best friend. Like we’ve known each other for 100 years and this isn’t a photoshoot—it’s a good time with someone who just happens to be capturing the magic.
Afterwards? I want you to say,
“That was actually fun.”
“I can’t stop looking at the sneak peek—how did she get that shot??”
Because for me, it’s not about perfection. It’s about presence.
The Life Behind the Lens
I’m a New England-based photographer, mama of two, and business owner who’s balancing toddler chaos and passion work all at once. I drink my coffee black, sip my mezcal on ice, walk barefoot all summer, and always wish I had taken just one more photo before the moment passed.
I’m knee-deep in the same season so many of my clients are in.
I get the messy, joyful, exhausting pace of life.
And I know how deeply we all wish we could freeze time—just for a second.
That’s what I’m here to do.
I’m so glad you found your way to my little corner of the internet.
If you're ready to document this season of your story—whether it’s loud and wild or quiet and tender—I’d love to be there for it.
