Spring Family & Maternity Sessions in Connecticut Nature

This spring, I had the absolute joy of capturing dreamy sessions that showcase exactly why I love being a lifestyle photographer in Connecticut. From golden hour glows to playful little feet running through the woods, these moments are what fuel my passion for natural, connection-filled photography.

As a lifestyle photographer, my heart is in storytelling—capturing families and mamas-to-be in their real, unposed moments. Whether it’s the quiet beauty of a maternity session or the joy-filled chaos of little girls giggling in the spring breeze, it’s about preserving the magic of right now. Here's a glimpse into two real life sessions from the past month or so.

Brooksvale Park in Hamden, CT – A Hidden Gem for Family Photography

This session with the beautiful ladies in red, took place at Brooksvale Park in Hamden, one of my favorite local spots for family photos in Connecticut. With open fields, quiet trails, the beautiful pond and just the right amount of light peeking through the trees, it’s a perfect place for relaxed, nature-inspired portraits.

The family brought such a warm, playful energy—hanging in the trees, chasing each other down the lane, and letting me document all the in-between moments that truly matter.

Southford Falls Maternity Session – Nature’s Perfect Backdrop

Southford Falls in Southbury, CT is chef’s kiss for maternity photography in Connecticut. This mama-to-be glowed against the backdrop of waterfalls, pine groves, and winding trails. There’s something so powerful about capturing a new chapter in a place that feels timeless.

Lifestyle maternity photography means you won’t be stuck in a studio with forced smiles. Instead, we wander, pause, and let nature and connection do the heavy lifting. This session was as peaceful as it can be with a two year old big brother but oh do full of gentle beauty—the kind of memories you’ll want to hold onto forever.

There’s something magical about spring in New England—especially here in Connecticut. The budding trees, soft light, and fresh air set the scene for photos that feel relaxed and real.

Whether you're looking to document your family’s growth or a new season of motherhood, I specialize in outdoor lifestyle photography that’s heartfelt, organic, and filled with emotion. No pressure to be perfect—just come as you are, and I’ll do the rest.
